JD's work is best described as "Classic-with a Twist". Her newly appointed salon is at 1 High St, Prahran, where she has been for over 10 years now, apart from a brief period of 3 years at 586 Malvern Rd in Hawksburn village.
"I love to mix textures and colours, and to try to incorporate vintage materials along with contemporary. My heart belongs to the "one-off" piece but I also really enjoy the bridal parties where a theme runs through the pieces created. I work by appointment and always try to make my client feel comfortable, relaxed and special."
JD's hats/headpieces will be hand moulded, hand blocked and hand stitched with great care to the finished detail.
